Hi, I’m Nate Sheets, an architectural photographer based in Kansas City, Missouri, specializing in residential and commercial architecture.

Photography in this field is as creative as it is technical, and I love documenting the beauty and functionality of a space. Working closely with my clients throughout each project is always the highlight.

Publications include Architectural Digest, Dwell, Residential Design, and House Beautiful, among others.

Recently, I’ve embarked on a personal project exploring large format 4x5 film photography. It’s been a refreshing shift from my normal work schedule and the responsibilities that come with owning a business. With film photography, I’m able to slow down, think more intentionally, and immerse myself in the moment. That slower process has reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me spending time with my wife, Morgan, our two kids, Grayson and Leland, and our dogs, Stevie and Barry.

Fun fact: In 2012, I skateboarded 430 miles across Nebraska.
